Oct 07, 2013 · Most domestic routers use either the 192.168.0 or 192.168.1 subnets with a netmask of 255.255.255.0 - if you had a fixed IP address on the ReadyNAS and changed to a different subnet it would no longer be addressable.
This name (or the IP address) can then be used in windows explorer program. Just type "\ as-xx-yy-zz". It should show you the LUNS channel (i.e. documents, pictures, music, etc). If you rename the hostname for the device, then you may need to reboot your readynas. In some instance, the hostname is not propagated down to subnets.
